UTECTION is a brand of the S&Z Trading GmbH. The organizer of the contest is S&Z Trading GmbH, Kellerstraße 5, 25474 Ellerbek, Germany.
In order to be eligible for the contest each participant must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
The owner of the account used to enter the contest (Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or Twitter) shall be deemed the participant. The participation is free.
By entering into the contest, participants consent to the contest rules. The respective contest rules must be fulfilled in order to participate. These can be find in the (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter post where the contest is announced.
Furthermore, by entering into the contest, the participant agrees that S&Z Trading may make public the winners on its social media channels and on its website.
It applies the timeframe specified in the contest rules on the respective post. Example: If a post published on Facebook on April 20 says that the end of the action is on 30.05. at 23:59 CET, then the participation is only possible during this period.
5. Determining the winner
The winner / winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with our terms and timeframe. The winner will be selected during within 2 weeks after expiring the period of participation.
6. Fanpage Karma
The winning drawing takes place via the tool “Fanpage Karma” (https://www.fanpagekarma.com/facebook-promotion). First all user interactions on the selected post are listed, duplicate entries (if a user comments more than once) are removed. The system then triggers randomly, based on a Java function for random values.
7. Notifying the winner
S&Z Trading GmbH will notified the winner through the platform used by the winner to enter the contest. The winner must, within 2 weeks of the date the winner is announced, contact S&Z Trading and, if applicable, provide his / her contact details for the fulfillment of the prize. If S&Z Trading GmbH does not receive this answer in due time, the prize will expires.
The current prize offered is described on the posts within the respective contest rules. For example, if the contest rules say that the prize of the contest is a wood cover case for iPhone X, all eligible participants will participate in the contest for that specific item.
A change or cash payment of the price is excluded. The winner accepts any necessary changes to the prize due to circumstances beyond S&Z Trading GmbH’s control.
9. Data protection
The winner hereby consents to the use and publication of the winner’s first and last name by S&Z Trading on all UTECTION social media platforms and on the UTECTION website (UTECTION.COM). As part of the contest, personal data of the participants will be collected (first and last name or profil information of the social media channel as well as email adress and mailing address of each winner). This information will be collected, processed and used by S&Z Trading exclusively for the purpose of conducting the contest.
Participants may at any time withdraw their consent to the future use of their personal data. Upon withdrawal of consent, further participation in the contest is not permitted.
10. Code of conduct
S&Z Trading GmbH reserves the right to disqualify participants who attempt to manipulate the contest.
11. Escape clause. Terms subject to change
S&Z Trading GmbH reserves the right to cancel or terminate the contest, in whole or in part and without prior notice, due to unforeseen circumstances. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, regulatory requirements, the threat or actual encounter of technical problems, or changes in the platforms of Facebook, Messenger, Twitter and/or Instagram.
S&Z Trading GmbH further reserves the right to changes these terms and conditions without prior notice.
S&Z Trading GmbH and its brands, directors, employees and agents shall be liable for damages in connection with this contest, regardless of the legal reason, only in cases of willfulness or gross negligence, death, personal injury or damage to health, or under the Product Liability Act.
The contest is not affiliated with any social media channels (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter). The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter. By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the contests, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize related activities, acceptance of a Prize and/or use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).

14. Appicable law
The contest is governed exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
